A few weeks ago I was working on a project that involved editing video and a bunch of photos. I needed a bunch of photos of my son for the project. As I searched threw my digital photos I realized that I didn’t have very many of my son. This didn’t make a lot of sense to me because I’ve taken lots of photos of him over the years. Then I realized that most if not all of those photos were taken with a phone and posted on Facebook or other social media. All though I’ve taken hundreds of photos I didn’t truly have the images myself. Because of this realization I am now going to use a digital camera to take the majority of my photos and store them locally and back up regularly.

Here are a couple from today taken with a camera I have had for a few years. It has been in a closet pretty much all of its life.
